Blindfolded Moles

Groove diggers of the Offbeat League

Blindfolded Moles are the kind of band that crawled out from beneath the rehearsal-room floorboards, squinted at the daylight of mainstream music, and promptly turned around. They play with their ears, their instincts, and sometimes actual blindfolds, crafting fuzz-laced melodies and gravel-thick rhythms that tunnel straight through conventional song structure.

Formed deep within the acoustic chaos of the Offbeat League, the Moles were first discovered by enigmatic producer Ruby Telnema, who mistook their first jam session for seismic activity. Rather than evacuate, he offered them a helping hand.

With stage lights dimmed to murky amber and lyrics muttered like secrets in an echo chamber, their shows feel more like cryptic rituals than concerts. Fans have been known to wear sunglasses at night and dig through the venue floor just to "get in the mood."

Their debut track, "Don't Copy that Brainwave" premiered through the Offbeat League’s channels before echoing into their own growing warren of followers. While undeniably part of the League’s odd orbit, Blindfolded Moles are very much their own species—burrowing beats, spectral textures, and a refusal to stay in any one genre tunnel for too long.

Next, they joined forces with Zombie Number 228 and the Atlanta Nordic Walkers to compose their offbeat overture "The Stickler's Ten-Pole Truth",—a sonic strut into the arena guided by Stickler's walking poles Balance and Harmony. The lyrics draw from the strange declarations found in Stickler’s manifesto, convincing enough to chant in a crowd.
